I’m getting ready to take digital photography classes and am hoping to make it profitable for myself by taking pictures for weddings, reunions, and would love to get into taking some portraits. I don’t want to spend thousands of dollars to start, but want a good camera that will meet the requirements of what I want to do with it? The more I research, the more confused I am becoming…..please help me!!!

What Would Be The Best Lens For A Canon Dslr Camera If Most Pictures I Take Are Portraits/of People?
Before digital days, I would have said an 80mm lens. However, with the conversion, now the digital lens I’d recommend is a 50mm lens.
When I say not so expensive, I mean $1000 or less with a lens…
I have a Canon EOS Rebel X S film camera which I bought around 1996. Is it possible to use the auto focus lenses from this camera on a newer, digital Canon? And format your memory card!

I’m buying a nikon d60 hopefully soon and I dont know whether to buy at the store or ebay. I’ve never bought off ebay before, I’m only 13, but they sell the camera I could buy at the store for like 50$ or 100$ cheaper PLUS like extra lenses and stuff, but idk whether to trust ebay and that the stuff is new? Should I buy at the store or ebay.
