Canon’s 18-55 mm will be perfect for your needs and will not cost too much. For higher performance then the Canon 24-70 mm f/2.8 is an excellent lens

Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS is one of the best lens for APS-C sensor cameras. You’ll get the effective zoom range of 27-88mm which is good for indoor photography.

i would say its between the 24-70 or 24-105 cant go wrong with either
