Does Anybody Have A Nikon Dslr D40 Camera?

so i have been playing around with my camera and its a nikon d40. I am trying to figure if it has a timer on it. if it does please tell me thanks.

    Select the ‘Custom Menu’, Go down to item 16 and set the self-timer duration (2, 5, 10, 20 seconds)
    Select menu item 4 and set the shooting mode to ‘Self-Timer’
    If you plan to use the self timer a lot, you can also program the FN button to switch between normal shooting and self timer. See menu item 11.
    And, of course, take some time to read the manual; everything is well documented.

    Okay, go to
    Custom settings menu
    Scroll down a bit, and there’s a self timer option. Set that to whatever you want.
    Then press the info button next to the shutter release, press the zoom in button. There should be things highlighted. Use the selector to select the shooting mode option on the right side, right under the ISO. Change that to self timer.
