If I Bought A Canon Dslr Camera, Could I Use My Pentax And Chinon Lenses With It?

I’m doing a photography gcse next year but my dad already has these lenses but doesn’t want to have to buy new ones for the DSLR. any help would be hugely appreciated

    Not immediately. You will need to find an adapter for these lenses. Fortunately the Canon EF mount means that you can mount them without much affect on the optics of it. You must bear in mind that any automatic aperture control. But if you’re studying photography then you’ll be fine.

    No but you could buy a Pentax DSLR and use them. You may be able to find an adapter but you wont have full functionality with the lenses.
    Your better off just buying a Pentax DSLR or selling the lenses and buying a Canon lens.

    Not worth the time, money, or effort to adapt those lenses to a Canon body.
    Either get a Pentax DSLR, or go all Canon.
