I have a canon XSi. I was wondering if i could somehow use my old Ricoh KR-30sp’s lens (a Rikenon P Zoom 28-100mm macro) on my canon. Is there a lens converter kit or something of the sort I can buy so i can use this lens on my canon? Thanks.

I have a new Canon XTi coming to me in the mail with a 2 gig CF card. I’m really excited about it but I’m wondering how many images I will be able to fit on one 2 gig memory card. Trying to find out if I will need to buy additional memory card(s). I will be shooting at the highest possible resolution (with no image compression). I’m an experienced 35mm SLR photographer and am just now moving into my first DSLR. Thanks!

I have a Canon Digital Rebel XTi and I already have the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II which I love! But I want to have a wider variety of lenses to choose from and I’m sort of on a budget.
They don’t necessary have to be made by Canon, as long as they fit on my camera and work nicely.

I just ordered one, and I know that when it arrives, I’ll take probably over a thousand pictures the first month since I’ve never had a dslr before. It’s a Rebel xs. What is the average life span of a camera like that under moderate to heavy use?

I am planning on buying a polarizing filter to go with my zoom lens with my Canon 20D DSLR.
When shooting:
- I use autofocus most of the time
- I adjust the metering manually sometimes (trying to do it more often now)
I am not sure if I should buy a linear or circular polarizer.
Any advice?

Hi everyone. I am looking really hard at a Nikon D300. They are ALMOST out of my price range but I think it’s worth it. However, is there a less expensive Nikon DSLR? one that is almost of the same quality? how about Canon? I am pretty open to any suggestions.

just wondering… i never got the concept of a DSLR (well, actually i never bothered to ask) so, what WOULD be considered a DSLR camera and how would i tell the difference between a DSLR and a normal digital camera?
