I was recently told that I’d be surprised of how many Nikon folks are that Canon doesn’t have manual control over the popup flash. It has TTL flash exposure compensation but Nikon also let’s you set it to 1/4th power or 1/2 power for example.
I was just wondering if any Nikon dSLR users actually use this feature.
Don’t know a lot about the subject but please be specific. Not just that Canon has been in the DSLR biz longer than Sony. Why do they take better shots and such…..

I know about Photoshop being able to enhance images nicely, but I want to know what you can use for the DSLR camera without having to go through editing it heavily.

Are there any lenses which are specifically more suited to studio photography than others? I have an Olympus E410 DSLR with two lenses a standard zoom (17.5-45mm) and a zoom (40-150mm). Cheers people!

This camera is good but it has a lot of noise. I want to upgrade it but I am not sure whether a picture from a superzoom such as the Canon sx10 fully zoomed would be better than a cropped picture from an entry level dslr with a 300mm lens.
