I’m doing a photography gcse next year but my dad already has these lenses but doesn’t want to have to buy new ones for the DSLR. any help would be hugely appreciated

Are there any lenses which are specifically more suited to studio photography than others? I have an Olympus E410 DSLR with two lenses a standard zoom (17.5-45mm) and a zoom (40-150mm). Cheers people!

4 Comments »I currently have the nikon d80 with a nikon 18-200mm lens. I want to know which lens is best for macro photography, and then some good ones for portraits. I don’t really care for a telephoto lens too much at the moment.
I have an Olympus E510 DSLR camera. I want to know if I can buy the canon lenses in the market, if they’ll fit in my E510.

One is digital (about 2 1/2 years old) and the other is about 4 years old and is a film camera. I just realized that my 28-80 lens from my film camera seems to fit on my digital SLR. Is it okay to put it on there? Is there a reason why I should or should not? Thank you for any advice.
