I’m interested in a full size sensor DSLR, but not ready to buy one yet. I’m looking right now to get an idea of what to look for in one. What’s a good one?

I have a Sony Alpha 100K DSLR which has a different sort of sensor. I have seen quite a number of products out on the market, including the LensPen, SensorKlear and Eclipse 2 solution along with swabs by Photographic Solutions. I would like to know which is the best for cleaning the sensor, the mirror and any tips you might have on how to approach it. I have read conflicting statements on cleaning the sensor and mirror; some say it is not as difficult as it is made out to be.

Every time you remove your DSLRs lens to replace it with another, you could be admitting tiny specks of dust that might, if you’re unlucky, find their way past the shutter when it opens for an exposure, and thence onto the sensor. It might take a few weeks or a few months, but eventually, you’ll end up with artifacts on your sensor.
