Personally i dont think you can go wrong with a canon 400D but i suppose it depends on what type of photography you are doing :)

nor nikon & canon are best ,but i recommend for you more analysis about them .i think so you must say to we how much budget can you pay? some of professional cameras needs to change lens such as
nikon D90 if you want to work professional . its means the camera can not adequate our expect.

It really depends on your needs. In general you are fine if you go with a Nikon. But it depends on what you are shooting the most. So if you are a Sports photograph I would recommend the Nikon D3 or lower budget D300, D700.

If you are a Studio photographer I would recommend the Nikon D3X. But of course you also can do Studio sessions with a D300, D700. Even with a D5000 taking good pictures is possible. It also depends on the lens you are going to use. One lens will not be enough for any kind of pictures. You might have various lenses. If you are on landscape you might go up to 300 mm. If you prefer to do event pictures you will need lenses down to f.2.8.

Check what you are going to shoot the most. Check your budget. Visit my source and you will find the best camera for your needs.
