		<description>Those 2 refer to the exact same lens. And it&#039;ll work fine with a D40. I use it with my D40 and it works fine.
Note get the VR version of the lens. There&#039;s a cheaper non-VR version of the 55-200, but optical quality is supposedly worse. VR also comes in handy a lot with telephotos since they&#039;re easily affected by camera shake.</description>
