It would be hard to beat a Pentax K20D.
It is really reflected by how much money you have to spend. Entry level Digital SLR’s do range in price from around four hundred and thirty dollars, to around seven hundred dollars. In general, however, the Rebel XSI is a really good camera to start off with. It has everything you could want in a digital SLR. A three inch screen, An IS lens, and live view.
Nikon D40, 60 or Canon Rebel series. Go confident.
