What’s A Good Flash Unit That Is Compitable With Canon And Nikon Dslr’s?
Me and my friend made a plan. I’m buying a speed light and selling it to him after I save up enough for a better one. Basically, I’m buying the flash for temporary use. I have a Nikon, he has a Canon. What flash should I get?

An auto thyristor unit, either shoe mount or handle mount.
For hot shoe mount, the Vivitar 285HV is about as good as it gets, brand new price is all of $89 at B&H or most other online retailers.
Handle mounts are larger, more powerful, but require a PC socket or PC socket adapter on the camera to work. The Metz 45 CL1 would be the way to go here, but now you are in the $400 range.
