Was that the sigma and tamron adapters could have with just about any camera, but I think it was just for manual focus cameras

The T1i going to take an EF mount or the canon ef-s lens.

I doubt that their existing lenses have the canon mount. Try checking with a reputable store picture to see if this can be done.

Unless the Sigma camera uses a Canon mount for the lenses. Each brand has its own mount for lenses.
